Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander of the Security Forces (West) and the Commandant (Overlooking) of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), awarded financial grants to Officers pursuing advanced military studies at the SLAVF Headquarters on 10th January 2025.
During the event, he symbolically presented the financial grants to the selected Officers. In total, 11 Officers received grants of Rs. 50,000.00 each during the ceremony.
This initiative was implemented for the academic year 2025, for Officers of the SLAVF qualified to undertake programmes such as the Defence Services Command and Staff College (psc) qualification and the Logistics Staff Course (Lsc).
Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
