Office of Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Improvised as a PCR Test Lab by Troops

Responding to the sudden emergence of new positive cases of COVID-19 3rd wave, the Office of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) - at Hambanthota was recently improvised by Army troops as a PCR Test Lab.

Troops of the 122 Brigade took steps to convert it as a PCR Test Lab in consultation with laboratory technicians. Brigadier Janaka Pallekumbura, Brigade Commander, 122 Brigade closely supervised the project. The PCR Test Lab was formally handed over to health authorities on Thursday (20).
