Ambassador for Switzerland, Mr. Barnosn Nadino Ragasonu and Adviser to the Embassy Mr. Martin Souizincer during a recent two-day visit to the Jaffna peninsula visited de-mining sites in Puttur and exchanged views with officials from Non Governmental Organizations at the office of the Jaffna District Secretary.
Swiss diplomats on the second day of their sojourn in the peninsula met with Major General S.D.Tennakoon Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Jaffna. Talks centred on security concerns and matters pertaining to de-mining conducted by the Army de-mining teams.
