The newly-appointed Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central), Brigadier H. Kulathunge, assumed office as the 22nd Commander of the FMA (NC) on Thursday (27), amid religious observances and military formalities at the Headquarters, FMA (NC) at Sunahatha camp in Anuradhapura.
The new Commander was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance to the Headquarters on arrival and was conducted to the office by senior officers. Later on he placed his signature in a formal document, amid blessings and religious observances to signify the acceptance of his new office.
