Non-Commissioned Officers Complete Courses at School of Ordnance

The Regimental Quartermaster Course No - 68 and Storemen/Ammo Storemen Course No - 50 were brought to completion on 09th December 2021 at the School of Ordnance in Dombagoda where the Director Ordnance Services (DOS) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General M.E.P Weerasinghe graced the concluding occasion as the Chief Guest.

A batch of 50 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and 44 Other Ranks of various Regiments of the Sri Lanka Army who have successfully completed those two courses received their certificates from the Chief Guest. The Colonel Commandant was welcomed by the Commandant School of Ordnance, Lieutenant Colonel G.T.S Silva.

Staff Sergeant R.L.C.W Surendra of 4 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regiment was awarded the Best Student in the Regimental Quartermaster Course No - 68 while the Sapper D.M.M.P Sampath of 5 Corps of Engineer Service Regiment was selected as the Best Student of the Storemen/Ammo Storemen Course No - 50.

The Staff Officer 1 (Log) - RHQ SLAOC, Chief Instructor at the School of Ordnance, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the ceremony.
