Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army appearing in leading ITN, Derana and Swarnawahini, stations this morning (25) summarized the status quo plus the roles, being fulfilled by the armed forces for the arrest of COVID-19 transmission in Sri Lanka.
