NOCPCO Head Among Main Panelists in 'Derana' TV 'Aluth Parlimentuwa'

Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army & Head of the National Operational Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) was one among main panelists in the 'Aluth Parlimentuwa' talk-show of the 'Derana' TV on Wednesday (22) evening where he, in his capacity as the Head of the NOCPCO summarized the roles, being fulfilled by the armed forces for the arrest of COVID-19 transmission in Sri Lanka and how the future management of the transmission of the deadly virus could be addressed.

Medical Specialist, Dr Anil Jasinghe, Director General of Health Services, Dr Priyath Bandu Wickrama, Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development, Water Supply and Housing, DIG Priyantha Weerasuriya and Superintendent of Police (SP) Jaliya Senaratne, Police Spokesman were among other panelists who took part in the discussion.
