Newly Promoted Major General Felicitated at SLSR Regimental Centre

Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, was felicitated at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) in Ambepussa on 15 December 2024, following his promotion to the rank of Major General.

Upon arrival, the Senior Officer was accorded a Guard turnout, followed by a Guard of Honor. He then paid a floral tribute at the War Heroes Monument to honor the fallen Officers and Other Ranks of the SLSR. Then, the Senior Officer attended an All Ranks tea, where he shared his thoughts with the personnel.

The day concluded with a special lunch at the Officers' Mess, where Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR, presented a memento to the newly promoted Major General in recognition of his well-deserved promotion.
