Newly-Promoted 62 Div GOC Felicitated on Arrival

62 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni welcomed their newly-promoted General Officer Commanding, Major General Samantha Silva at the Divisional Headquarters when he arrive there on Wednesday (14).

A Guard Turnout in accordance with military traditions saluted him upon his arrival at the HQ premises in Welioya after the promotion.

The newly-promoted GOC planted a sapling in the premises to mark the day and joined an all rank tea afterwards.
