Newly-Promoted 55 Division GOC Greeted in Welcome Ceremony

Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 55 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna who was recently promoted to the rank of Major General was welcomed in a formal ceremony on Thursday (14) when he arrived at the 55 Division Headquarters at Kaddaikadu.

A formal Guard Turnout plus a Guard of Honour was presented to the promoted GOC on arrival before he was invited to inaugurate the new Q-Stores and the renovated Guard Room in the premises.
