Newly Appointed GOC of 55 Infantry Division Visits Under Command Brigade and Battalions

Major General B.G.S Fernando USP Hdmc psc, the newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 55 Infantry Division, conducted an official visit to the 552 Infantry Brigade, 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, and 2 Sri Lanka National Guard on 23 November 2024.

At each location, the GOC was accorded Guard Turnouts and warmly received by the respective Senior Officers during his visit.

During the engagements, visiting GOC participated in comprehensive briefings on the operational role, ongoing tasks, and the current status of each formation. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present throughout the visit.
