Newly Appointed General Officer Commanding, 56 Infantry Division Makes His Inaugural Visit

Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 56 Infantry Division, made his first official visit to the 563 Infantry Brigade and its under command Battalions from 17 to 18 February 2024.

The visiting GOC was honored with a Guard Turnout and was warmly welcomed by the Commander, 563 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officers of respective Battalions.

Throughout the visit, the GOC engaged in detailed briefings regarding the role, tasks and current operational status of the respective Brigade and Battalions, led by respective Commander and Commanding Officers. He further extended his visit to interact with troops by addressing them at each location.

The Deputy General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commander and Senior Officers joined the visits.
