SECURITY Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year on a grand scale giving priority for traditional sports events under the patronage of the Wanni Security Forces Commander and Competent Authority for IDP Welfare Major General Kamal Gunarathne.
The occasion was also attended by senior Army officers serving in the region adding more ecstasy and strength to their fellow-men. The New Year celebrations were followed by several fun-making events bringing more colour to this day.
