Ven. Etambagaskada Sri Kalyanathissa Nayaka Thero, Deputy Chief Sangha Nayaka of North Central Province, together with Major General A.K.S Perera, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) opened the new shrine room and the Bodhi perimeter wall of the Sri Sambuddharaja Temple during a simple ceremony on Monday (20).
Construction of the shrine room and the Bodhi Prakaraya of this newly established temple in Kanagarayankulam was carried out on the instructions of Brigadier D.A.R Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding, 56 Division.
Opening ceremony was attended by Brigadier D.A.R Ranawaka, Brigade Commander of 561 Brigade Headquarters, 561 Brigade Civil Relations Officer and many Unit Commanders.
