Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) ceremonially opened the newly-built two storied wing of the SFHQ-J on Thursday (14).
With the addition of this new complex, many a responsibility lies with the SFHQ-J could be further fulfilled with efficiency since administrative work will be made easier.
Major General Hathurusinghe entered the new office complex, unveiling a plaque and cutting a ribbon amidst Seth Pirith chanted by Ven. Balawathugoda Abeytissa Thero of Sri Naga Vihara. The inauguration afterwards followed the lighting of the traditional coconut oil lamp.
The new Headquarters Complex constructed with meticulous architecture came up in the place where the main building of the former Headquarters was situated.
