The new Commander Security Forces-East (SF-E), Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi addressed the troops upon assumption of his duties as the new SF -E Commander in a simple ceremony, held at the SF –E premises on Sunday (06).
During his inaugural address, he emphasized the value of creating a conducive environment at work place in order to perform duties effectively without unnecessary pressure.
Commanding officers, officers and other rankers representing under command battalions, Brigades and Divisions participated at the occasion.
The day’s event culminated with an all rank tea at the Other Ranks’ mess.
