New SF-E Commander Pays Courtesy Calls on Bishop & District Secretary for Batticaloa

The new Commander, Security Forces - East (SF-E), Major General Nandana Senadeera, paid courtesy calls on the Bishop of Batticaloa diocese Most Rev Dr Joseph Ponniah and the District Secretary for Batticaloa Mrs P.S.M Charles on Tuesday (11).

During the cordial meetings, they exchanged views on religious, social, economic and cultural perspectives as well as matters, related to law enforcement, etc in the district of Batticaloa.

Commander, SF - E presented a memento to the District Secretary of Batticaloa, Mrs P.S.M Charles as a symbol of memory of his first visit to the Batticaloa District Secretariat.

Major General H.W.S.D.B Pananwala, General Officer Commanding, 23 Divisison, and Brigadier N.D.S.P Niwunhella, Brigade Commander, 231 Brigade also were present during the visits.
