The newly-constructed Regimental Library of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) at Polhengoda, Narahenpita was declared open by the Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General Ranjan Premalal on Monday (26).
A brief ceremony was held to unveil the commemorative inscription plaque of the library. This long-felt requirement of the troops enables them to use their leisure time productively and improve their knowledge on a wide variety of subjects through reading.
Centre Commandant - Brigadier Lakshman Bamunusinghe, Commanding Officer, Special Investigation Unit - Colonel Ravindra Abeysinghe, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
