New Regiment Holds Workshop on 'Archery' at SLA RHQ

With a view to further developing sports spirits among soldiers in the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, a workshop on "Introduction to Archery" was conducted by the new 15th Drone Regiment at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda on Friday (13).

It got underway as part of a project in progress on the same lines following directions and responsibilities, entrusted to the new regiment by the Colonel Commandant, SLA intending to popularize participation in sports.

The workshop was conducted by Captain Indranath Perera (Rtd) from the Gemunu Watch, Coach- Sri Lanka Army Archery Team who is also an expert in the field of archery. The participants were exposed to both theoretical and practical sessions conducted at the Artillery Cricket Grounds.

The Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers and Other Ranks of the RHQ SLA were present at the inauguration of the workshop. buy shoes | Nike React Element 87
