New MGO at AHQ Assumes Office

Major General Chandana Marasinghe of the Sri Lanka Army of Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) took over duties as the 21st Master General Ordnance (MGO) of the Army at the Army Headquarters this morning (9) during a brief ceremony at his office.

Amidst blessings of members of the Maha Sangha, the new MGO signed a formal document and marked the assumption of his new office. A gathering of Senior Officers and Other Ranks were associated with the day’s event.

Major General Chandana Marasinghe, prior to this new appointment served as the Director-General Ordnance Services of the Sri Lanka Army.
