New Library Facility Opens at 7 SLAWC

Under the guidance of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC – SVB), a new library facility was completed at 7 SLAWC. The Chairperson, SLAWC – SVB graced the occasion as the chief guest and declared opened the facility on 15 June 2024.

In her address to all ranks, Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali emphasised the importance of reading books, highlighting how it can enhance knowledge and personal development. As a symbolic gesture, she also donated books to the new library, further supporting the initiative and encouraging the use of the new facility.
