Major General M.K.U.P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, Commander, Security Forces - East, laid the foundation stone for a new house for an underprivileged family in Wadichchalaya, Kaduruwela on 25 February 2024.
Under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 7 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment (7 SLA), troops of the 7 SLA will provide manpower and technical support for the project, with generous financial assistance from philanthropists.
Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding of 23 Infantry Division and Brigadier A.A.D.P Kulathilaka USP psc, Brigade Commander of 231 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, recipient’s family and villagers participated in the event.
