The new Army fuelling and service centre at Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) was opened recently at a new location, close to Iranamadu junction.
The unit with all modern technical facilities, to be maintained by 7 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) was inaugurated by Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ-KLN. Formerly, it was at Paranthan junction.
The brief ceremony was attended by General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area, 7 SLASC Commanding Officer, several senior officers and soldiers.
