New Facility Complex in 21 Division HQ Opened

Major General Kumar Jayapathirana, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 21 Division with the intention of further promoting welfare facilities for soldiers took steps to put up a utility building in the 21 Division premises, comprised of a library, saloon, beauty culture centre, tailor shop and a cobbler station.

The opening of the new facility took place on 28 July in the presence of the GOC gracing as the Chief Guest. 212 Brigade troops supported the construction work of this utility complex under the supervision of the 212 Brigade Commander.
