Major General Udayantha Wijerathne made first formal visits to 22 and 24 Divisions of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) during 18-22 January after assuming duties as the Commander, SFHQ-E.
On arrival, the visiting SF Commander was received by respective General Officers Commanding of the 22 and 24 Divisions.
A troop address and planting of a tree sapling culminated the events.
