Brigadier W.A.S.R Wijedasa WWV RSP USP ndc psc assumed duties as the new Director of the Directorate of Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation on 14 June 2024 during a simple ceremony at his Army Headquarters office.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document in the presence of several Officers of the Directorate.
A group of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present at the occasion.
