Brigadier Thushantha Senarathne assumed office as the 14th Director of the Directorate of Rehabilitation of the Army on Wednesday (4) in his office at Hekitta, Wattala during a brief ceremony.
After brief religious observances, the newly-appointed Director of the Directorate of Rehabilitation left his signature in an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the Commandant, Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama.
Staff Officers of the Directorate and Other Ranks joined the occasion. He succeeds Major General Shiran Abeysekara who has now been appointed as the Director General Financial Management at the Army Headquarters.
