New Director Recruiting Begins His Office

Brigadier Janaka Wimalarathna assumed office as the 26th Director, Directorate of Recruiting in the office at Kohuwala on Monday (9) during a brief ceremony, adhering to health guidelines.

After religious observances, Brigadier Janaka Wimalarathna in his office signed an official document and signified the acceptance of the new office. Staff Officers of the Directorate and Other Ranks joined the occasion.

He succeeds Major General Mihindu Perera. Prior to this new appointment, he held the office of the Commander, 241 Brigade HQ in the East.
