Brigadier Saliya Amunugama of Gajaba Regiment (GR) took over duties as the new Director, Directorate of Real Estate and Quartering at the Army Headquarters, Sri Jayawardenepura on Monday (13) during a brief ceremony at his new office.
After brief religious observances, Brigadier Saliya Amunugama left his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of his new appointment in the presence of several officers.
Before this new appointment, he served as the Commandant at Centre for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) at Saliyawewa, Kalaoya.
Few staff Officers of the Directorate attended the occasion, adhering to health guidelines.
