Brigadier M.K.S.S De Silva of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps assumed duties as the 22nd Director of the Directorate of Pay & Records on 24 July 2024 during a simple ceremony at his new office in the Panagoda Army cantonment.
He marked the occasion by symbolically placing his signature in an official document amidst the chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks from the Directorate were also present at the occasion.
