Colonel N.A.S.C Perera of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps assumed duties as the new Director of the Directorate of Pay & Records on 17 May during a simple ceremony at his office in Panagoda Army cantonment.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document, amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha in the presence of several officers of the Directorate.
He succeeds Brigadier A.M.K.G.P.S.K Abesinghe, who has now been appointed as the Director, Directorate of Budget & Finance.
