New Director Operations Assumes Office

Brigadier Harendra Ranasingha of the Special Forces Regiment assumed office on Thursday (12) as the 36th Director, Directorate of Operations at the Army Headquarters during a brief ceremony.

After brief religious observances, the newly-appointed Director Operations left his signature in an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office.

Staff officers in the Directorate and other ranks attended the inauguration of the office.
