New Director Movement Begins Work

Brigadier W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP assumed duties as the new Director at the Directorate of Movement at the Army HQ on Thursday (28 Dec) during a simple ceremony at his office.

He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document in the presence of several Officers of the Directorate.

He succeeds Major General W.M.P.M Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, who has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding of the 59 Infantry Division.

Prior to this appointment, Brigadier W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP served as the Deputy General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division.
