Brigadier Janaka Priyadarshana of Mechanized Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the 18th Director in the Directorate of Assets Management at the Army HQ on Thursday (12).
The newly-appointed Director signed an official document and symbolized the acceptance of the new office after religious observances in the presence of a few Senior Officers.
He succeeded Brigadier S. Kasthurimudali who has been selected to follow an National Defence College course in Sri Lanka.
Staff Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate were present at the location. Brigadier Janaka Priyadarshana was the Commander, Mechanized Infantry Brigade before he took over this appointment.
