Brigadier A.M.K.G.P.S Abeysinghe of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps assumed duties as the 16th Director, Directorate of Budget and Finance Management on Thursday (May 22) during a simple ceremony at his office at the Army HQ.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document, amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha in the presence of several officers of the Directorate.
He succeeds Brigadier R.P.S Padmashantha Lsc of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps.
