New Director of Army Benevolent Fund Begins Work

Colonel M.K.S.S De Silva assumed duties as the new Director of Army Benevolent Fund on 10 May 2024 during a simple ceremony at his office.

He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document in the presence of several Officers of the Directorate. He succeeds Brigadier P.R Samaraweera, who retired from the Army.

Prior to this appointment Colonel M.K.S.S De Silva served as the Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps.
