New Consul General of India in Jaffna Makes Courtesy Visit to Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna

Newly-appointed Consul General of India in Jaffna, Mr. S Balachandran paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on 23 April 2018.

Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna (SF-J) received the new Consul General of India on arrival and had a cordial discussion with him.

The Commander, SF-J briefed the Consul General on the ongoing reconciliation roles in the Jaffna peninsula, progress of rehabilitation of ex-combatants, reconstruction projects and roles of the Security Forces in the present context, etc.
