The newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc met the Eastern Province Governor, Hon Senthil Thondaman during his official field visit to the 22 Infantry Division in Trincomalee on Thursday (16 June).
The meeting was held in the Eastern Province Governor's office at Trincomalee. The new Commander, Security Forces - East was welcomed at the Governor's office by the Governor's Secretariat Staff. During the meeting, the Commander, Security Forces - East exchanged views and discussions also focused on area-related issues.
Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Brigade Commander, 221 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Staff and Brigadier Admin & Quartering, Security Force Headquarters - East also participated in the occasion.
