New Commander Calls on Secretary Defence

Secretary Defence, General (Retd) Shantha Kottegoda warmly greeted the new Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva when he paid a courtesy call on the Secretary Defence at the Ministry of Defence premises this morning (3).

During the cordial discussions that ensued, both of them discussed security matters of relevance and how the future would hold for the Army.
