Brigadier R.P Munipura RWP RSP assumed duties as the new Commandant of the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) amid religious blessings at the MSTS premises in Diyatalawa on 03 June 2024.
The newly-appointed Commandant was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers and saluted in a Guard Turnout, presented by troops as he entered the premises.
Afterwards, the new Commandant in his new office was invited to symbolically sign an official document to mark the assumption of his duties. Later on, the new Commandant addressed all Officers and Other Ranks where he expressed his vision for the school in future.
Staff Officers of the MSTS, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the day's event.
