Major General M.P.K Madurapperuma RSP USP psc of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers assumed office as the 17th Chief Field Engineer at Army Headquarters on 15 July 2024 during a brief formal ceremony. Marking the acceptance of the new office, Major General M.P.K Madurapperuma RSP USP psc, symbolically placed his signature on an official document amidst the religious blessings.
Afterwards, the Chief Field Engineer addressed the Officers and Other Ranks sharing his vision and expectations for the upcoming tenure.
Principle Staff Officers, Senior Officers, and Officers were also present during the ceremony.
Prior to this new appointment, Major General M.P.K Madurapperuma RSP USP psc, served as Director General Real Estate & Quartering at Army Headquarters.
