New Buildings in ITC Vested in the Troops

Infantry Training Centre (ITC) troops at Minneriya contributed to the construction of their own main kitchen and the new kitchen premises of the Sergeants' Mess at the ITC and had them opened during a brief ceremony, headed by Major General T.S Bansajaya, Commandant, ITC on Thursday (19).

The new main kitchen area for Other Rankers consists of stores for dry rations and fresh food items.

The Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ new kitchen in the was also opened during the same ceremony.

Both constructions were built by the troops of the 3 Corps of Engineer Service (CES) with the support of ITC troops under the guidance and close supervision of Major General T.S Bansajaya, Commandant, ITC, Minneriya.
