Lt. Gen S. H. S Kottegoda paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga recently at President's House after he took over office as the 17th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
Her Excellency President Kumaratunga as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, during this formal meet with the visiting military chief exchanged matters of mutual concern
The visiting military chief presented a token memento to President Kumaratunga as a mark of respect before he bade farewell.
