Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment took over duties as the new Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army on Tuesday (6) during a brief ceremony at his new office.
Placing his signature in an official document at the auspicious minute amid religious blessings, he symbolized the acceptance of his new appointment.
He succeeded Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc who has now been appointed the Director General General Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
Prior to this new office, Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc served as the General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division of Security Forces - Central.
Several Staff Officers of the Adjutant General’s Branch attended the occasion.
