Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc of the Sri Lanka Artillery, the newly appointed Adjutant General (AG), assumed duties on 08th January 2025 as the 40th Adjutant General during a simple ceremony held at Army Headquarters.
Amidst the chanting of Seth Pirith by members of the Maha Sangha, the Senior Officer signed an official document in his office, symbolising the commencement of his new responsibilities.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Commander, Security Forces (East). Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks attended the ceremony.
