Major General C.S. Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG of the Sri Lanka Artillery assumed office as the new Adjutant General at Army Headquarters during a brief formal ceremony on 15 July 2024.
Amidst religious observances, Major General C.S. Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG symbolically placed his signature on an official document to signify acceptance of the new office.
Prior to his appointment, he served as the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division. Principle Staff Officers, Senior Officers, and Officers were also present during the ceremony.
