Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) this morning (08 Jan) assumed office as the new Adjutant General at the Army Headquarters during a brief formal ceremony.
He succeeded Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc who has now been appointed as the Commander, Security Forces - Central.
Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc amid multi religious observances symbolically placed his signature for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office.
Prior to his appointment, he held the office of Commander, Security Forces - Central. Principle Staff Officers, Senior Officers and Officers were also present during the ceremony.
