New Accommodation Facility Opened in 682 Brigade

After unveiling a plaque, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 68 Division, Major General A.S Ariyasinghe opened the new Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ accommodation building in the 682 Brigade Headquarters premises in Puthukuduirippu on Christmas day (25).

Brigadier S Kasthurimudali, Commander, 682 Brigade welcomed the day’s Chief Guest, 68 Division, GOC on arrival and invited him to unveil the plaque and vest it with the Non Commissioned Officers in the 682 Brigade.

The new accommodation building consists of 8 rooms, 4 attached bathrooms and a large sitting room and was built by 4 Corps of Engineer Services Regiment and Garrison Engineers troops with the support of 682 Brigade and 68 Division troops.
