New 571 Bde Commander Assumes Office

Colonel D.K.S.K Dolage assumed duties as the 9th Commander of the 571 Brigade on Wednesday (4) September during a simple ceremony at the 571 Brigade Headquarters in Kilinochchi.

A formal Guard Turnout at the entrance, presented by 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops greeted him. He left his signature in a formal document and symbolized the occasion.

Afterwards, the newly-appointed Brigade Commander planted a Mango sapling in the compound as a symbol of memory before he joined a customary troop address and an all rank tea.
