A coconut seed germination project that could breed 13,000 saplings got to a start at Neeraviya Farm, managed by the Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock in coordination with the Coconut Development Board on 27 February 2022.
At the invitation of Lieutenant Colonel H.V.K.W Abeywickrama, Commanding Officer 1 Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock.
Director Agriculture and Livestock, Brigadier Arosh Rajapaksa participated in the inaugural occasion.
